Tammy D'Amato - Principal, Third & Fourth Grade Teacher:

Mrs. D'Amato holds a BS in Biology from Eastern Connecticut University.  She has been teaching at CCS for over 20 years.  She has taught preschool through fourth grade. 

 

"My greatest joy is to help children of all abilities reach their full potential academically and spiritually.  I treasure the wonderful relationships I have with my students due to our classroom size and teacher to student ratio.”

Fyzah Marshall - Preschool & Kindergarten Teacher:

Mrs. Marshall is a Christian who desires to live out her faith daily.  She is a wife and mother of four who appreciates traditional values.  She is a native Rhode Islander who studied at the University of Rhode Island earning her BS in Science.  She has over 15 years of experience in early childhood education, social work,
and family involvement.

Krystal Speroni - Preschool & Kindergarten Aide:

Miss Krystal is a former student and graduate of CCS.  She understands the value of a Christian education.  She counts it a privilege to return and help teach at the school. 

 

"It is an absolute joy to watch each individual student grow, and I don't take it lightly, the task God has put before me."

Bekah Conley - First & Second Grade Teacher:

Miss Bekah has worked with children since she was 13 years old.  She graduated from Veritas Baptist College with a BA in Elementary Education. 

 

"I have enjoyed working with the amazing teachers here at CCS.  I am passionate about creating a fun, safe environment for my students.  I strive to instill a love for learning in all of my students.  I encourage curiosity and questions.  I desire for all of my students to come to a saving knowledge of Christ and to build and grow their relationship with the Lord."

Hannah Blackburn - Fifth & Sixth Grade Teacher:

Mrs. Blackburn is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College who holds a BA in Elementary Education.  She has been at CCS since 2022. 

 

"My passion is instilling a love for learning in my students while challenging them to grow closer to the Lord."

Teresa Barnes - Seventh & Eighth Grade Teacher:

Mrs. Barnes holds a BS in Secondary Education and an M.Ed. from Hyles-Anderson College.  She has trusted Christ as her Saviour since she was a youth, and got assurance of her salvation as a young adult.  She has been in education for about 35 years, in all levels from upper elementary to college-age young people. 

 

"I enjoy teaching 7th/8th grade students.  It is a very pivotal time in their lives, and it is exciting to help prepare them for their high school years.  It is a tremendous opportunity, privilege, and responsibility to help train the next generation."

Kirsten Speroni - Teacher's Aide:

Miss Kirsty is a former student who attended preschool through eighth grade at CCS.  She holds a Graduate of Divinity from the Baptist Theological School of New England.  She is one of the former pastor's daughters who was taught to appreciate a good Christian education. 

 

"I count it a privilege to be able to return and help teach the next generation.  It's a delight to be able to help teach children academically and watch them grow spiritually."

Beverly Harden - Office Manager:

Mrs. Harden is CCS's office manager.  She has over 20 years experience working in education.  As a graduate of Rhode Island College, she holds a BA in Mathematics, and has taught students in grade five through adult.

Mrs. Harden taught fifth grade here at CCS from 2002 to 2006, and has been on our administrative staff since 2013.  Mrs. Harden covers all aspects of a school office including attendance, admissions, billing, communications, planning, yearbook, and more. 

 

"I enjoy interacting with every family who entrusts their children's education to CCS.  It is my pleasure to help support both our families and staff.  The best part of my job is watching the students grow up from preschoolers to middle schoolers!"
